After 5 airports, 17hrs of flying and 32 hours without any sleep i eventually arrived in Bangkok! It wasnt too bad as i got 3 seats to myself on the London-Hong Kong flight so i got a wee lie down- ah nice. On landing at Hong Kong Airport i thot we were for landing in the sea! We were skimming along! But the piolt made a super landing 10 out of 10! Nice airport too but i was too tired to explore so sat on my ass for 3 hrs waiting for my final flight! [more]

We stayed 3 days in Bangkok before we actually started to travel. Definitely a great city and so different from everything we have seen before on our trip. It is evident that with this city, we begin a new part of our trip. All the countries visited before where on the Silk Road and had some cultural and geographical similarities, parts of common history and the same religion. We begin now to discover a different Asian culture and history as well as a different religion: Buddhism. [more]
