Access by bus

Plenty of buses pass around here. The bus numbers are in the listed box above.

Access by boat

Take a Chao Phraya Express boat from pier along the river and get down at Tha Chang pier(N 03 Pier). Short walk pass riverside market. You'll see the corner of palace wall. Turn right there and one left at the end of the Palace wall. It's just 100 metres to get the temple entrance.

Acceess from the Grand Palace

Many people come to Wat Pho after they visit the Grand Palace. Just walk on the either left or right path outside the wall, the river side is better in the morning because there are many stalls and markets all the way.

BEWARE

You will meet many scam artists on the way offering you directions and tips one of which will be that Wat Pho is closed till late noon and will try to get you a taxi to kill your time elsewhere which is a tourist trap to send you to shops to buy.
