Location

          Opposite bank of Wat Pho

Drive to Thanon Wang Derm Rd (Old Palace Road) and drop off at the main entrance gate. There's no parking for visitors.

Access by bus

Few buses pass here. The bus no. are 19 and 57. Even though the bus no.19 passes the guesthouse zone at Bang Lamphu, we don't recommend to get it on becaus it goes round the city before get to Wat Aroon.

Access by boat (best way)

Take a cross river ferry from Tha Tian Pier that is near Wat Pho. Fare is only 3.50 Baht. And very short walk to Wat Aroon. This is the most easiest way to get to Wat Aroon.

Acceess from Wat Pho

Many people come to Wat Aroon after they visit Wat Pho. Just walk on the left path outside the wall. Walk to junction and then go straight ahead to Tha Tian Pier. Get on a ferry to the opposite bank where Wat Aroon is.
