The Grand Palace is a must see for every Bangkok visitor. Its big compound houses a number of history landmarks of the city. The palace is a treasure house of Thai arts and also appears greatly influenced by Western architecture.

Grand palace consists of four main parts.
Wat Phra Kaew is the royal temple that houses the Emerald Buddha, corresponded to the site of Wat Phra Si Sanphet in the old royal palace at Ayutthaya.

The Outer Court used to be the office of the royal treasury and other civil and military branches of government.
The Inner Court was strictly reserved for the king's vast royal household, which included royal consorts, young sons, daugthers, concubines and many attendants, guards and officials all of them women. This part is not allowed for visitors.
The Middle court is the most important part of the palace. It contains
